"NEWS" El Rufai opens up Kaduna, gives guidelines Governor Nasir El Rufai  has been opened up Kaduna state,  after 75 days of partial lockdown, following  the  invocation   of the Quarantine Act and the Kaduna State Public Health Law, to impose the Quarantine Regulations on March 26. In a state broadcast on Tuesday, El Rufai paid tribute to the good people of Kaduna state, for their  immense sacrifices in the last two and half months as containment measures against Covid-19 were implemented. The governor said that as from Wednesday, 10 June 2020, the Quarantine Order will be  amended to permit a significant reopening of the state, especially businesses and  places of worships. El Rufai however   said that schools and markets will remain closed because at this stage of Covid-19 containment, it is still considered unsafe for markets and schools to reopen. An 81-year-old retired vicar who married a 27-year-old model has died in a Romanian hospital, leaving his large fortune to his husband. . . According to the MailOnline, Philip Clements, who passed away on May 31, 2020, married Florin Marin, 27, in April 2017. . . Marin will now receive £150,000 from a life insurance policy, and will inherit a £100,000 from a house that was put into his name before his husband died. . . #FG lifts ban on religious gathering The federal government on Monday June 1, lifted the ban on religious gatherings across the country. Chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 and secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha made the announcement during the daily briefing of the task force today. Mustapha said relaxation of restriction on places of worship is based on guidelines issued by the PTF and protocols agreed by state governments. However gathering of more than 20 persons remains prohibited outside of work places and in religious services. NEWS# One dead, two injured in Lagos accident   An accident which occurred at Ikota, along Lekki-Epe in Lagos has claimed the life of a yet-to-be-identified man and also left two others injured. Spokesperson of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nosa Okunbor confirmed the incident and also disclosed that the accident involved a Toyota Corolla car with registration number FJK 353 GC and an unidentified hit-and-run truck which reportedly rammed into it from behind. The driver of the Toyota car died after it rammed into a roadside culvert due to the impact of the collision which occurred few minutes after midnight on Saturday. Okunbor said; “Upon arrival at the incident scene, it was observed that a wine colored Toyota Corolla car with registration no. FJK-353GC was involved a Road Traffic Collision.       Investigation carried out at the scene revealed that while the Toyota car was on motion, an unidentified Truck ran into it from behind.

News# Landlord allegedly shoots tenant dead for refusing to vacate his house A landlord in Ofankor, Ghana has been arrested for allegedly shooting his tenant who refused to vacate his house after he ordered him to. Facebook user, Blessing Naana Ansah-Senkyire shared photos of the arrested suspect at the police station. She revealed that the landlord who was angry that her brother, Kobby didn't finish packing on the day he was asked to vacate the property, took a gun and shot him while still in his room. Kobby reportedly died instantly. She wrote; Yesterday this man shot and killed my brother at ofankor. Mr landlord who is a disappointed bugar, you won't go free.
